Kristeen Davies is an Associate Professor of Theatre in Costume Studies at Dixie State University in St. George, Utah.

 

She holds the MFA in Costume Design from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and the MSEd in Speech Communication from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Kris has over 25 years of experience teaching in higher education and over 35 years of professional experience in the theatrical industry. She has designed professionally across the country, including equity houses in Chicago, Iowa City, and Lincoln, NE.

Although Kris’s coursework includes mainly costume design, she also has extensive experience as a director, performer, artistic director, and more. She has co-founded two non-profit theatre companies, as well as a national playwriting festival.
